Fundraiser at mansion in Toronto

Another trip in the private Jet!!! I love these trips with David, Mike and gang.
David Foster, Mike Ravenhill Ceo of the DF Foundation, husband and wife Kel Levesque and Fraser Waters of the tenors and I flew private jet to a fundraiser at Rebecca MacDonald’s mansion in Toronto. Once again I flew to LA to overnight so I could catch the private with them to Toronto. (pic below).

We went to a cocktail hour sponsored by RBC where once again David was presented with a cheque for $250,00.00 for the organization. Then on to Rebecca’s, who is well known for her large servant staff. It is very much like Downton Abbey. It was surreal to see 8 servers all dressed in black, come marching in four to each side of the table in perfect sync as they served course after course in unison.
This was a private dinner held in her huge mansion. Rebecca is the richest woman in Canada, a philanthropist and big supporter of David’s foundation. They sat me at the head of the table in the grand dining room – there are 4 dining rooms in this palatial home in High Park. We were 37 people for supper!!!
I did a little bit of close-up during dinner and then . I opened the show followed by David and guests and then did close up at the after party for an hour and a half. David and Mike had to take Jim Treliving home in the private jet so I stayed behind (with a limo waiting to take me back to my hotel) and I entertained Rebecca’s family and a few guest for another hour.
When I flew home the next day with Westjet, I texted David from my seat on the plane and wrote “David, something is wrong, there are all kinds of people getting on the plane with me.”

I received some happy face emojis from him and then this great text: (also pic of US ON THE PRIVATE JET, ME WITH CARDS in hand, and followed by Jim Trelving and me below in the Grand dining room, and the table set up with my name & deck of cards at the head of the table).

Oh ya, have I told you that I loved my job!!!!
